According to the Children’s Bereavement Estimation Model, 1 in 12 children in the US will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the time they turn 18.

Camp Connect is a daylong children’s grief camp for children ages 5 – 18 who have suffered a loss or those who have a terminally ill loved one. Camp Connect gives children the opportunity to explore and express their emotions, equips them with a better understanding of their grief, and offers ways of coping with their feelings. All of this, while making connections with others who have experienced loss.

“My Wish” is a unique program led by Covenant Care that turn wishes into magical memories for patients facing serious illnesses. From memorable dinners to weddings and sports activities, we collaborate closely with families to fulfill their wishes. This program also extends its reach to children aged 5-18 who are coping with the loss of a loved one, providing them with the same opportunity.
Memory Maker Boxes are specifically developed to aid children and parents who are anticipating the loss of a loved one. Therefore, These boxes are filled with hand-selected items designed to assist with the anticipatory grief process. Some of the items included in the box range from a recordable plush animal, a journal, an inkless handprint kit, and a wish jar.
